Dr. Wahid relocated to Las Vegas, NV in 2001, after completing his Gastroenterology fellowship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Wahid has extensive experience treating a wide-range of gastrointestinal diseases and is especially interested in interventional endoscopy, including endoscopic ultrasound for which he received extensive training at University Vita-Salute San Raffaele (Milan, Italy), University of Copenhagen (Copenhagen, Denmark), and Montreal University Hospital Center, also known as “CHUM” (Montreal, Canada). He regularly attends certified courses and conferences for advanced endoscopic techniques due to his eagerness to provide his patients with the most up to date treatment options.

Dr. Wahid is also a keen advocate in educating the next generation of gastroenterologists and is the Program Director for the GI fellowship training program at UMC and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Gastroenterology at UNLV School of Medicine.

During his spare time, Dr. Wahid enjoys spending time with his family and travelling.
